Explosion-proof motor heat failure means that the temperature of the explosion-proof motor during operation exceeds the range specified on the nameplate. The cause of the explosion of the explosion-proof motor is analyzed as follows:

1. The temperature rise exceeds the nameplate requirements under the rated load. In any case, the motor is faulty and must be shut down for inspection. In particular, attention must be paid to sudden increase in temperature rise.

The external causes are: the grid voltage is too low or the line pressure drop is too large (more than 10%), the load is too heavy (more than 10%), and the motor and machinery are not properly matched;

Internal causes are: single-phase operation, interturn short circuit, phase-to-phase short circuit, stator grounding, fan damage or unsecured, air duct obstruction, bearing damage, stator rotor wipe, motor and cable connector heating (especially copper aluminum or aluminum aluminum Connection), motor corrosion or moisture, etc.

2. The temperature rise under the rated load does not exceed the temperature rise limit. Because the ambient temperature exceeds 40°C, the motor temperature exceeds the maximum allowable operating temperature. This phenomenon shows that the explosion-proof motor itself is normal. The solution is to artificially reduce the ambient temperature. If this is not possible, the load must be reduced.

In addition, the motor can theoretically be reversed in theory, but some motors have a directional fan, if the reverse, the temperature rise will exceed many. In short, you must troubleshoot for specific situations.
