Traditional equipment process analysis

1) Two equipments are required to complete the A process. One is to use a common boring machine or a special machine to rough the large and small head holes; the other is to use a drilling machine or a drill center hole machine to machine the center hole. If the drilling machine is used, it needs to be clamped twice, and the center holes at both ends are processed separately. It is necessary to make a special tool to clamp the workpiece.

2) The B process needs to be completed by ordinary milling machine or ordinary boring machine, but to meet the size requirement of the process side from the center of the big hole (160.5±0.08) mm, a special tooling clamping workpiece is required, and the inspection rod, instrument, and The measurement block can be used to meet the processing requirements.

3) Completion of the C process can be completed with a special machine. With two boring heads, the large and small head holes of the connecting rod can be smashed at the same time to ensure the accuracy requirements of the parts.

Machining center processing connecting rod

If the machining center is used to machine the connecting rod, the three processes can be machined on one piece of equipment and the efficiency can be improved to ensure the accuracy of the connecting rod.

1. Process analysis

If it is processed by a horizontal machining center, it is necessary to use a curved plate or a square box as a tooling, the workpiece is raised, placed on a curved plate or a square box, and the three steps can be completed by the rotation of the table, but the connecting rod The setup is difficult. If the gantry machining center solves the problem of connecting rod clamping, the connecting rod can be placed horizontally on the table top, but the center hole of the connecting rod and the machining of the side and the bolt surface need to be processed by a right angle milling head. The side of the process and the bolt surface are relatively high (see Figure 2). The side of the process is required to be centered at the center of the large hole (160.5±0.08) mm, and the flatness of the bolt surface is 0.02 mm. If the general manual right angle milling head is used, the accuracy cannot be met. Only automatic right-angle milling heads can be used, but it takes a certain amount of time for the machine to automatically change heads.

2. Processing center equipment

In order to meet the processing of the three processes of the connecting rod, we have selected the GMC1530r2 of the gantry five-face machining center for the user. The working table specifications are 1500mm×3000mm, the X-axis stroke is 3600mm, the Y-axis stroke is 2700mm, the Z-axis stroke is 1000mm, the gantry width is 2100mm, and the main motor power is 37kW. The workpieces of the three processes can be placed on one workbench and processed separately.

The equipment was developed by Zhongjie Machine Tool Co., Ltd. through the introduction, digestion and absorption of foreign gantry five-sided processing and manufacturing technology. The appearance of the equipment is shown in Figure 4. The device adopts a fixed beam type gantry frame structure, the bed is fixed, the double column is arranged with the Bolts on both sides of the bed, the worktable moves in the X direction on the bed body, and the ram moves in the Z direction on the sliding saddle, sliding the saddle Together with the ram, it moves in the Y direction on the beam.

The main large parts of the equipment are shown in Figure 5 and Figure 8, respectively. The bed, workbench, column, beam, sliding saddle and ram are all optimized by 3D computer software . The ribs are arranged reasonably. The heat treatment process is perfect to eliminate residual stress and ensure the machine has sufficient strength and rigidity. High stability.
