The output of crude steel in key steel enterprises increased by 3.871 million tons or 7.53% compared with the same period of last year. The daily output of crude steel was 1,843,200 tons/day. The cumulative daily output of pig iron is 1,985,100 tons/day. The output of pig iron in key steel enterprises increased by 2.171 million tons, up by 4.29%, and the daily output of pig iron was 1,758,100 tons/day. The cumulative production of iron in January-April was 244.462 million tons, an increase of 9.119 million tons or 4.67% over the same period of last year. The cumulative daily output of pig iron is 1,073,900 tons/day.
In April, the national steel output increased by 428,200 tons or 0.45% over the same period of last year. The daily output of steel was 3.163 million tons/day. The cumulative production of steel in January-April was 357,782,200 tons, an increase of 612.84 million tons or 1.74% over the same period of last year. The cumulative daily output of steel is 2,981,900 tons / day. The steel output of key steel enterprises increased by 2.5263 million tons or 5.05% over the same period of last year. The daily output of steel products was 1,784,600 tons/day. The cumulative production of steel in January-April was 20,285.98 million tons, an increase of 12.1892 million tons or 6.39% over the same period of last year. The cumulative daily output of steel is 1,690,500 tons/day.
