(2) The empty pager should be used in conjunction with personal protective equipment such as fire helmets, fire gloves, fire extinguishing protective boots, and firefighters' protective clothing, and pay attention to the following matters:

1. During the use of an empty caller, it is necessary to pay attention to the alarm signal issued by the alarm at any time. When hearing the alarm sound, it should be immediately evacuated from the scene to the safety area to replace the gas cylinder;

2. Before entering the mission area, the user must confirm that the pressure in the cylinder is not less than 24 MPa. During the use, the pressure gauge should always be observed and the remaining time should be estimated to ensure that there is enough air in the cylinder. Ensure that you safely evacuated to a place where you do not need respiratory protection;

3 , in use, due to collision or other reasons cause the mask to move, should hold your breath and reset the mask in time;

4 , in case of face mask fog, you can take a deep breath or open the flush valve to remove fog;

5. Do not drag empty pagers and accessories on the ground during use to keep the quick connectors clean and prevent wear and tear.

Positive pressure fire air breathing apparatus - maintenance

(1) The following maintenance items shall be carried out after each use of the space caller:

1. Clean the empty pager. Neutral detergent in warm water for cleaning air breathing apparatus, may be disinfected if necessary for the mask;

2. Gas cylinders with a pressure below 24 MPa should be inflated as soon as possible;

3 , according to the preparatory work requirements before the implementation of fire air respirator air tightness test.

(b) The following maintenance items should be carried out each week:

1. Wash the mask with a neutral disinfectant (do not use a disinfectant containing stearic acid ) . After rinsing in clean water, allow it to dry naturally. Do not bake it;

2. Check whether the pager and its accessories are worn or aged, and the hood is not worn or loose. Check cylinders, pressure reducers, air supply valves, masks, and backrests for damage, and find that they are handled abnormally by professionals.

(3) Attention should be paid to the following matters in daily maintenance:

1. The compressed air of the empty pager must not be directly blown to the human body to prevent injury;

2. It is forbidden to use underwater breathing apparatus for underwater breathing apparatus;

3. When dismantling valves, parts, and quick-release joints, they should not be conducted under gas pressure;

4. The pressure values of the empty call relieving valve, alarm and medium-pressure safety valve have been debugged at the factory, non-professional maintenance personnel are not allowed to debug, and the spring in the exhalation valve may not be arbitrarily exchanged;

5. When using the compressed air to blow out dust and dust from the empty caller, the operator’s hands, face and eyes should be well protected and wear protective glasses and gloves;

6 , gas cylinder inflation can not exceed the rated working pressure;

7. Do not connect a 30 MPa pressure cylinder to a pressure reducer with a maximum input pressure of 20 MPa;

8. Air cylinders are not allowed to be filled with oxygen, nor can gas cylinders be filled with other gases or liquids.

9. When the seals and parts of empty pagers are assembled, only a small amount of silicone grease shall be applied, and no oil or grease shall be allowed.

10. The empty gas cylinder gas source should be selected to be free of polluted clean air. The height of the gas outlet should not be less than 2 meters , and the air quality meets the following requirements:

Carbon monoxide does not exceed 5 . 5 mg/m3

Carbon dioxide does not exceed 900 mg/m3

Oil does not exceed 0 . 5 mg/m3

Water does not exceed 50 mg/m3

11. The air intake should be set on the rescue site in the wind direction when the fire emergency rescue site is inflated. ☆

Positive pressure fire air breathing apparatus - inspection and maintenance

(1) The firefighters should conduct a check every day on the device they are wearing, including:

1. Is the main accessory of the empty caller complete and reliable, whether the mask check valve is easy to use and whether the mask is dirty or cracked?

2 , check the cylinder pressure and the overall air tightness. Turn on the throttle switch and rotate the bottle valve hand wheel 2 times counterclockwise . The gas should flow out of the air supply valve. Turn off the throttle switch and the air flow should stop. Observe the reading of the pressure gauge and the air pressure in the cylinder should not be less than 24 MPa. Rotate the bottle valve clockwise clockwise, close the bottle valve, continue to observe the pressure gauge for 1 minute, the pressure drop does not exceed 2 MPa, then the system is air tight;

3 , check the alarm. Turn the bottle valve clockwise clockwise, close the bottle valve, and then slowly release the gas in the system pipeline. When the line pressure drops to 5.5 ± 0.5 MPa, the alarm should start alarm and continue until the pressure in the pipeline is less than 2 MPa;

4. Check whether the bottle band is tightened. Hand-push the bottle band along the axis of the cylinder and it should not be easy to move. If not tightened, the length of the bottle band should be readjusted;

5 , check the respiratory performance of equipment. After wearing the mask correctly, rotate the bottle valve handwheel 2 times counterclockwise to connect the air supply valve and mask properly, keep it sealed and locked , open the damper , and check the performance of the air supply valve by taking a few deep breaths. Both breath and breath are comfortable.

(b) Fire squadrons shall organize inspections of on-duty air callers on a weekly and quarterly basis .

The weekly check includes:

1 , full-faced lenses, belts, ring seals, exhalation valve, suction valve, gas valve and other parts should be complete and easy to use, the connection is correct and reliable, clean and dirt-free;

2. The cylinder pressure gauge is working properly and the connection is firm;

3 , straps, belts intact, no open line fracture;

4 , the gas cylinder and the bracket and the parts connected firmly;

5 , deep inspection of the airtightness of the whole machine. Turn on the cylinder switch and turn off the cylinder switch after the high pressure air is filled. Observe the change of the pressure gauge. The value of the pressure gauge should not drop more than 4 MPa within 5 minutes .

6 , residual gas alarm check.

Quarterly inspections include:

1. Check whether the rubber parts, webbing and parts of the complete set of pager have slack, wear or aging;

2. Check the cylinder pressure test date and confirm that the cylinder is within the valid testing period. If the test period has been exceeded, the cylinder should be stopped and marked immediately. The test should be conducted by a specialist and it can be used only after passing the test.

3 , check the machine calibration date, confirm that the pager is in the valid verification period. If the inspection period has been exceeded, it shall be immediately stopped and marked, and shall be verified by the special personnel of the detachment and shall be used after verification;

4. All used cylinders should be inspected for physical damage, such as dents, bulges, scratches, or cracks; whether there is thermal damage to the cylinder caused by high temperature or overheating, such as surface discoloration, charring or disappearance. , The pressure dial is melted or damaged; if there is trace of chemical damage formed by acid or other corrosive chemicals, the outer layer is wound off. If any of the above conditions are found, it will be handled by the manufacturer's designated person.

(c) The fire brigade shall organize an inspection of the storage, use, and maintenance of the on-duty air call device every six months.

(d) After the maintenance of the airlifter should be registered for the record.

(5) Gas cylinders shall be strictly managed and used in accordance with the national regulations concerning the use of high pressure vessels. The use period shall be based on the marked period of the gas cylinders. The hydraulic pressure test shall be conducted once every three years and the service life shall be 12 years.

(six) check the whole machine. Each year a comprehensive performance test shall be conducted on the empty caller. The test content includes positive mask value, respiratory resistance, air supply flow, system air tightness, pressure gauge, alarm, etc. The measurement results shall meet the performance indicators designed by the company. ☆
