India's Arvind and German PD set up a fiberglass joint venture

Recently, Indian textile manufacturer Arvind and German PD Glass Fiber Group have jointly established a joint venture and named it Arvind PD Glass Fiber Composites Pte Ltd. This joint venture is mainly for wind energy, transportation, shipbuilding, aerospace Industries such as infrastructure and infrastructure provide non-woven fabrics and multi-axial glass fabrics. Arvind owns 51% of the shares and PD Group holds 49% of the shares. The annual capacity of the joint venture glass fiber fabrics is approximately 300,000 tons. The joint venture is expected to start production in March 2012.
