The latest data released by the China Iron and Steel Association on October 27 showed that the output of crude steel of key large and medium-sized enterprises was 13.41 million tons in mid-October, and the national estimate was 15.63 million tons. The daily output was 134.1 and 1.563 million tons, respectively, which was a decrease from the previous month. 3.3 and 63,000 tons, a decrease of 2.4% and 3.9%. In the middle of the month, the daily output of crude steel was 1.592 million tons, which fell further from the 1.681 million tons in September.

The previous report published by the China Iron and Steel Association for the first half of October showed that at the end of the tenth China Steel Association employees ** 17.34 million tons of crude steel, the national estimate was 16.27 million tons, and the average daily production was 1.374 million tons and 1.627 million tons respectively. In the latter half of September, the net decrease was 43,000 tons and 51,000 tons respectively, a decrease of 3%.

In fact, the crude steel production in September has hit a new low during the year. In September, domestic crude steel production was 47.95 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 5.9%, and crude steel production was below 50 million tons for the first time in the year. Among them, the average daily crude steel production was 1,589,300 tons, which was a decrease of 67,500 tons compared with August, and was also lower than 1.6 million tons for the first time this year.

Analyst Hu Yanping told the "First Financial Daily" that the low level of steel production since October has still to be attributed to the continuous implementation of energy-saving emission reductions, such as the Hebei area Shougang Qianan, Tianjin have limited production, Shandong, Henan, some steel mills have joined the limit Production line. At the same time, it should be noted that part of the production capacity in Wu'an and Tangshan in Hebei Province has resumed production at the beginning of October. However, it still limits the amount of electricity available, and news of the suspension of production in the Fengrun area of ​​Tangshan has recently been reported. In addition, in addition to limiting electricity, some steel companies will arrange annual maintenance in the fourth quarter, such as Liaoning's Bengang, Bayi, Tangshan Iron and Steel.

Hu Yanping predicts that China's steel production will remain at a low level in the fourth quarter, and its monthly average daily output will be less than 1.7 million tons. However, due to the high overall operating rate in the first half of the year, the annual crude steel output will maintain a relatively high growth rate, and the total amount is expected to reach 626 million tons, which is an increase of approximately 10.3% from the 567.8 million tons in the same period of 2009.
