On January 17, the reporter learned from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics that the "intelligent transportation" system jointly developed by the school and the Municipal Transportation Commission will be "bundled" with mobile phones this year.

In the past, real-time road conditions that could only be queried through the Internet could be transferred to the mobile phone, and users could grasp the road conditions in a timely manner through SMS, mobile phone WAP network, etc.

According to Zhu Tongyu, associate professor of the State Key Laboratory of Software Development Environment of Beihang University, the current "smart transportation" information collection is mainly based on the GPS system on the taxi. In order to make the information easier for drivers to grasp, this year, in addition to "marrying" the "intelligent transportation" system with mobile phones, a trial operation of the "intelligent transportation" system's in-vehicle terminal commercial market will also be conducted.
