1 Types and materials of common turning tools, selection of grinding wheels

2 Turning sharpening operation skills and precautions
Sharpening and checking first, equipment safety is the most important;
After the grinding wheel speed is stable, the two sides of the knife hold the vertical wheel side;
Two elbows are clamped at the waist, and the sharpening is smooth and anti-jitter;
The height of the turning tool must be controlled, and the grinding wheel is at the horizontal center;
The pressure of the knife pressing wheel is moderate, and the reaction force is too large to slip;
The hand-held turning tool moves evenly, and the warm and hot hands are temporarily removed;
Care should be taken when the knife is away from the grinding wheel to protect the tip of the blade from lifting first;
High speed steel knives can be water cooled to prevent annealing and hardness;
Hard alloy is not water quenched, and quenching is easy to crack the tool;
After stopping grinding and stopping, the person disconnected from the machine room.
3 90°, 75°, 45° and other external turning sharpening steps
Rough grinding first grinds the back of the main body, and the tail end is biased to the left;
The blade head is upturned by 38 degrees, and the back angle friction is reduced;
Then grinding the back of the pair and finally sharpening the rake face;
Grinding out in front of the front corner, first coarse and fine sequence clear;
Fine grinding first grinds the front, and then grinds the front and back of the main;
When grinding the sharp edge of the knife, hold the front pivot point with your left hand;
Rotating the tail of the rod with the right hand, the arc of the tool tip is naturally formed;
The flat edge is straight and steady, and the correct angle is the key;
Sample corners are carefully inspected and experienced.
