Because the background color of apparel printing is first dyed with a piece dyeing method, the color of the background color is richer and much deeper than if the background color is printed on the printed floor. This is the main purpose of garment printing.

Apparel printing fabrics can be printed by roller printing and screen printing but cannot be printed by thermal transfer printing. Because of the high production costs of the unpainted fabric compared to direct printing, the reductant required for use must also be carefully and accurately controlled. Using this type of garment printing fabric, the sales situation is better and the price is higher. Sometimes, the reducing agent used in this process can cause the fabric at the printed pattern to be damaged or destroyed.

If the color of the front and back of the fabric is the same (because it is piece dyed), and the pattern is white or is different from the background color, it can be confirmed as a discharge printing fabric; carefully check the reverse side of the pattern, will The traces of the original background are revealed (the reason for this phenomenon is that the chemicals that destroy the dye cannot completely penetrate the opposite side of the fabric).

Second, direct printing Direct printing is a direct printing on white fabrics or on pre-dyed fabrics. The latter is called overprinting. Of course, the color of the print pattern is much deeper than the background color. A large number of common printing methods are direct printing.

If the background of the fabric is white or mostly white, and the printed pattern looks lighter from the back than the front, we can determine that this is a direct printed fabric (note: Due to the strong penetration of the printing paste, it is light and thin Fabric cannot be judged by this method).

If the background of the fabric is the same in depth (because it is piece dye), and the print pattern is much deeper than the background color, then this is the overprint fabric.

The common problems in garment direct printing processes and their solutions are based on the most common factors that lead to quality deterioration in the direct digital printing process. Here are the professional solutions for maintaining the best quality at all times:

First, poor water-resistant garments Direct printing inks will show excellent water-wash performance after proper processing and drying. The reader will not be afraid to consider the following factors, which may improve the washability of digital prints.

Second, insufficient drying Most digital clothing direct printing inks need to be heated between 163 to 176.5 °C for about a minute to stabilize the drying effect. There are two operation processes for printing dark clothes with white ink. Insufficient drying is the single most important factor causing discoloration. Since most of the main body's inks are water-based inks, it is assumed that the printer is used to dry the ink. It is better to use the press to float the clothes for 30-45 seconds, which can be used before the application of the pressure process. Evaporate as much water as possible and maintain a good drying effect.

Third, the texture of clothing fabrics Many digital clothing direct printing inks are designed exclusively for cotton textiles. If it is used in a 50% cotton 50% polyester fabric and mixed fiber fabric, the pattern on the garment may degrade when the garment is washed. This needs to communicate with the supplier and hopes to get helpful help to adjust the printing parameter settings for the synthetic material.

Fourth, the pretreatment operation on the dark clothing pre-treatment degree may significantly affect the print quality and washing performance. Too little pre-processing can cause the image to become pitted and too bright, and too much manipulation can also be detrimental to maintaining proper adhesion. Although preprocessing is relatively easy to master, it does require some practical experience.

Fifth, the practice of fibrillation found that the real cause of ink seemingly washed away is the fibrillated yarn, which is the reason why the texture of the cotton cloth will penetrate the ink after washing. The degree of fibrillation is largely influenced by the spinning process used to fabricate the fabric, and the printing results are significantly constrained by the type of garment. It is possible to evaluate the clothes taken from different suppliers through tests to find the most suitable varieties for actual production. Normally, any one second on the printing press will act on the washability of the enhanced white garment, just as any one drop of ink will help make the garment fabric matte better.

6. The idea of ​​doing pre-processing on white may sound a bit paradoxical, but there are indeed some print operators who perform pre-processing operations on light colored clothing. In general, the processing operations performed on dark clothes are tailored to react with the chemicals in the white ink, which are different from the reactions that occur in CMYK colors. In addition, if pretreatments are applied to non-white-printed clothing, it is likely that the garment will degrade when it is washed in the field.
