Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG black series exposure using carbon fiber technology

As early as in 2009, there were rumors about the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG black series, which was confirmed in 2010 and is under development. Recently, overseas spy photographers photographed a series of road test spy photos of the SLS AMG black series.

Appearance, from spy photos, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG black series uses a more aggressive front bumper, flash mudguard, more pronounced side skirts and sleek car rear design. The models are equipped with larger wheels and tires, and potential upgrades also include more manoeuvrability kits.

It is not easy to increase the power level of SLS AMG because it is already a 563-hp super run. However, the Black Series Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG chassis and interior components use carbon fiber technology to reduce vehicle weight. It is reported that the black series power will reach 650 horsepower. In terms of engine selection, the current 6.2-liter V8 engine may be adjusted, or the new 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, but the former is more likely.

Editor's Note: At present, we do not know whether this SLS AMG black line will be mass produced, but the details will be officially released in 2013, which means that the model will be released as a 2014 model.
