Recently, the research results of the “Activation of Plant-Immune Algae Protein Biopesticide Creation†completed by the Institute of Protein and Pesticides of the Institute of Plant Protection of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences was appraised by the expert group of the Ministry of Agriculture. According to reports, the research results are based on the theory of plant immunology for the first time. To activate plant immunity and improve resistance as the screening target, two new proteins with stimulating plant immunity were isolated from the fungus "Alternaria alternata". PeaT1 and Hrip1, and identified their target proteins on tobacco cell membranes. The high-efficiency fermentation, extraction process and preparation processing technology of Alternaria alternata activator protein were established, and the scale production of two kinds of activator products was realized. For the first time, it has created a fungal protein pesticide with 3% of its own intellectual property rights, 3.4 extremely fine chain spore-acting protein wettable powder, and a protein bio-pesticide 6% oligosaccharide-chain protein wettable powder for controlling plant virus diseases.
These two activator bio-pesticides have a high control effect on a variety of plant diseases, greatly reduce the input of pesticides and fertilizers, reduce production costs, improve the quality of agricultural products, and achieve significant economic, ecological and social benefits.
