Wireless network device type

In wireless LANs, common devices include wireless network cards, wireless bridges, and wireless antennas.

1, wireless network card The wireless network card is similar to the network card in Ethernet, as the interface of the wireless local area network, realizes the connection with the wireless local area network. Wireless network card according to the different types of interfaces, mainly divided into three types, namely PCMCIA wireless network card, PCI wireless network card and USB wireless network card.
The PCMCIA wireless network adapter is only suitable for notebook computers and supports hot-plugging. It can be very convenient for mobile wireless access.
PCI wireless network card is suitable for ordinary desktop computers. In fact, the PCI wireless network card only inserts an ordinary PCMCIA card on the PCI riser card.
USB interface The wireless network adapter is suitable for notebooks and desktops. It supports hot-plugging. If the network card has a wireless antenna externally, the USB interface is a better choice.

2. The wireless bridge understands the role of the wireless bridge from the point of view. It can be used to connect two or more separate network segments. These separate network segments are usually located in different buildings, with distances of several hundred meters to several tens of kilometers. So it can be widely used in the interconnection between different buildings. At the same time, according to different protocols, wireless bridges can be divided into 802.11b or 802.11G in the 2.4 GHz band and 802.11a wireless bridge in the 5.8 GHz band. Wireless bridges have three operating modes, point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and trunk connections. Especially suitable for long-distance communication in the city.
In the absence of obstacles (mountain peaks or buildings), a temporary network of one-speed networking and field operations. Its effect distance depends on the environment and the antenna, which is now 7km of point-to-point microwave interconnection. A pair of 27dbi directional antennas can achieve a 10km point-to-point microwave interconnection. 12dbi directional antennas can achieve 2km of point-to-point microwave interconnections; a pair of wireless bridges that only implement link layer functions are transparent bridges, and with network layer functions such as routing, directional antennas at the network 24dbi can realize heterogeneous The Internet-connected device is called a wireless router and can also be used as a third-tier bridge.
Wireless bridges are usually used outdoors and are mainly used to connect two networks. It is not possible to use only one wireless bridge and it is necessary to use two or more wireless access bridges. APs can be used independently. The wireless bridge has large power, long transmission distance (up to about 50km), strong anti-interference ability, etc. It does not have its own antenna and is generally equipped with a parabolic antenna to achieve long-distance point-to-point connections.

3, wireless antenna When the computer and the wireless AP or other computer far away, with the weakening of the signal, or the transmission rate decreased significantly, or simply can not achieve communication with the AP or other computers, this time, we must rely on wireless The antenna gains (amplifies) the received or transmitted signal.
There are many types of wireless antennas, but there are two common ones, one is an indoor antenna, the advantage is convenient and flexible, the disadvantage is that the gain is small, the transmission distance is short; one is an outdoor antenna. There are many types of outdoor antennas, one is a pot-shaped directional antenna and the other is a rod-shaped omnidirectional antenna. The advantage of an outdoor antenna is its long transmission distance. More suitable for long-distance transmission.

Investment Casting

Investment casting, also known as lost wax casting, is a traditional manufacturing process that originated thousands of years ago. This process is utilised to create metal parts and components with complex shapes and intricate details. It is a cost-effective method to produce complex parts.

The process commences with the crafting of a wax or plastic pattern, an exact replica of the desired part. Our experienced engineers excel in designing tooling for creating these patterns. Once the tools are devised, we utilise 3D printing for initial rapid prototyping, which undergoes testing before the production phase. Subsequently, the pattern is coated with a ceramic slurry to form a shell around it. After the shell has hardened, the wax or plastic is melted out, leaving behind a cavity in the shape of the desired part. Molten metal is then poured into the cavity, filling the space vacated by the melted pattern. Following solidification, the ceramic shell is removed, revealing the finished metal part. Investment casting is esteemed for its capability to produce parts with tight tolerances, excellent surface finish, and intricate geometries.

Here at A & M Manufacturing Company Ltd, we possess the capability to manufacture metal parts and components with extremely tight tolerances and complex and intricate shapes and designs, both internally and externally. We can cast metal parts and components with a wide range of materials using the investment casting technique, including stainless steel, carbon steel, cast iron, aluminium, and many more.
