Xing County alumina project supporting gas station successfully passed 105 days performance

Recently, the coal gas station of China Aluminum's Xing County Alumina Project successfully passed the 105-day unit performance test, and all indicators met the design requirements. It indicates that the project is ready for inspection and acceptance and will be delivered to Shanxi Huaxing Aluminum Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Shanxi Huaxing”) for operation and management after the system has disappeared and passed the acceptance check. At that time, the long-term safe and stable operation of the project will make outstanding contributions to enhancing the overall competitiveness of Shanxi Huaxing.

China Aluminum's Xing County Alumina Project's supporting gas station project is a key project for Shanxi Huaxing to reduce costs and increase efficiency. This project is a turnkey project designed and constructed by the Shanghai New Coal Chemical Design Institute (hereinafter referred to as “New Coal Chemicals”). After the project was completed and put into use in November 2015, it has not been normalized due to issues such as the central tube of the gasifier, the baghouse dust collector, and the desulfurization tower system. In this regard, the new coal chemical industry system optimization and transformation of the project, and in February 23, 2017 re-ignite operation, opened a continuous full-load stable operation of the unit performance test for 105 days. Including the 168-hour and 72-hour performance tests, various performance indicators met the assessment requirements.

In order to ensure that the project meets the design requirements as soon as possible and smoothly transferred into production, the leading group of Shanxi Huaxing attaches great importance to it. The main leaders have hosted the special meeting to coordinate the deployment several times, arranged the production system personnel to intervene in advance, helped the contractor to resolve the problems, and finally made the project successful. Passed a 105-day performance test of the unit to provide a reliable guarantee for improving the company's alumina product market competitiveness.
