After consulting with on-site medical personnel, rescue workers decided to dismantle the top of the tower crane above the operating room first, and at the same time use jacks, hydraulic jacks, hydraulic expanders and other tools to open the deformed operation room, and then think of ways to rescue trapped people. The rescuers called gas welding to cut the rivets. After the bayonet was fully opened, another tower crane was used for rescue.

At 1 pm on the same day, after the top of the tower crane above the operation room was completely removed, the rescue encountered a new problem. Because the operation room was seriously deformed, the trapped persons were firmly stuck in the operation room and it was difficult to rescue. After careful observation, rescuers decided to use jacks and hydraulic dilators to apply force in both diagonal directions to open an operating space. At 1:30, after three hours of hard work, the trapped driver was rescued but was unfortunately killed.
